Our Laurel Mock Trial Team completed its first season today, and all are proud of what these students accomplished. In year one, they took on the challenge of preparing arguments, questioning witnesses, and responding under pressure in the courtroom.
Thank you to Ms. Benato, advisor, and Dr. Niblett, administrative liaison, for the time and support they invested in this team. A special thank you to Attorney Tom Stanton for volunteering his time to help coach and prepare our students.
Thank you as well to the parents who attended and supported our students throughout the competition.
Most of all, thank you to our students for your bravery, resilience, and willingness to step into something new. You represented Laurel incredibly well and helped establish the foundation for Mock Trial at Laurel! Laurel High School

This week marks the annual Special Olympics Delaware Spread the Word Inclusion Week. Yesterday, students, staff, and teachers participated in Inclusion Day by wearing yellow, recognizing it as the bridge that unites us!
