Students will be introduced to the elements of the world of the visual and performing arts through the two strands within this pathway.

Visual Arts students focus on developing skills to create art for aesthetic and commercial purposes.

Performing Arts students are members of our award winning band, chorus, jazz band, or steel drum performance group. Through rehearsals and performances of appropriate music, students will be able to successfully demonstrate musical ideas and understand the differences in musical styles. A study in basic music theory and history will be applied as appropriate to the repertoire being performed at the time. Students will be required to devote some extra curricular time for performances as indicated. Students will be required to perform in the following events: Winter and Spring Concerts, Spring Adjudication Festival, and Graduation. Other Performances may be scheduled upon invitation.
