Face Coverings and Bulldog Summer Academy

As many of you know, Governor Carney's State of Emergency declaration expires on Tuesday, July 13.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) have both provided guidance recommending the continued wearing of masks when students are present.

Our school community has worn face coverings thus far during Summer School without incident, so we will continue to follow the guidance and wear face coverings for the remainder of Summer School when inside our buildings to help minimize the potential for spread during Summer School (to clarify, staff do not need to wear masks inside when students are not present).

We are optimistic that facial coverings may not be necessary when school returns in the Fall, but that decision will not be finalized until later this Summer.
